In June, 2010 Susan will be exhibiting paintings of Haliburton Shoreline in the Rails End Gallery in Haliburton. The educational component of the show is to promote the preservation of natural shoreline through the appreciation of paintings of Haliburton Shoreline. There will also be an ongoing digital slideshow of over 100 photos taken by Susan while canoeing around Sherborne Lake near Dorset last summer which show the exquisite beauty of this beautiful, protected lake. Educational material regarding shoreline stewardship will also be available.
Two other shows in Blyth, one solo and one group exhibition are in the works, watch for details in upcoming months.
Current Work
Susan continues to work in acrylics in an impressionistic style on highly textured canvas, painting landscapes of Haliburton, Huron County and Georgian Bay with the occasional still life or floral.
